Hi! I'm Jason, and the creator of DFWbikenights.com.

A couple years ago I thought it would be cool to get a site going that lists all the bikenights, benefit rides, gatherings, etc around DFW, and I bought this domain. Well, a year went by and I didn't even touch it...haha...and now I have decided that I would get it going again.

DFWbikenights is not a bike or biker specific site, nor is it a vendor or event specific site. I wanted a site that could list ALL things going on in DFW related to BIKES. Any bike. If there is a sportbike meet in Dallas and a Poker Run in FW, let's post them up. A radio station is doing a toy run and the track has a race, lets have them both! If a place of business wants to advertise a bikenight, let us know. If you have specials for bikers, we want that info too! I want this site to be a place for the biker.

I will put up banners for businesses for a fee, I will list general info for free. IF the site takes off and becomes very busy, then I may have to charge some for the time. I will help to promote bikers and biker events, but cannot organize them for you.

All bikes, All nights, 1 metroplex.

Who we are:
I grew up in the small town of Hutchinson, Kansas, and graduated from Buhler High School in 1993. I did a couple years at a local community college, but really didn't have the drive to stick to anything particular for a major. I took CAD classes, Engineering classes, math...then some criminal law, and eventually decided the working world was more profitable, so dropped out. It's sad to say, but I am glad I did, I probably wouldn't be where I am now had I stayed in school. I lived in Wichita for awhile, where most of my family is still at, then one day, decided Dallas seemed fun...and moved here in 2000.

I live in Allen with my wonderful girlfriend, Jessica and our 3 furry kids, Winston (American Bulldog/Black Lab), Mortimer (English Bulldog) and Bastian (the lucky black cat). *I will include pics as the story goes*

I ride a 2004 Yamaha YZF-R6, that I bought new March, 2004. The bike has seen many upgrades, but is settling in with its current look. Maybe, eventually, I will get off my ass and do a buildup page of the bike, but for now, you just get simple pics :) I will give a shout out to Paulspowdercoating.com for the wheels, they look great!

For you cruiser guys...don't let the stereotyping get you down. Yes, I ride a sportbike...no, I'm not "that guy".

Let's see, what else makes me tick...Love to collect and restore Military Surplus rifles, and some modern ones too. I have a few handguns, and some shotguns, and love to go out and shoot them all. My pride and joy is my Springfield M1Garand that Jess bought me...LOVE that gun!!

I guess that is about it for now...I will add more as I think about it :)
